First Spring

First Spring

First Spring has a refined "orchid fragrance". After brewing, the tea liquor presents a clear yellow-green color, with a refreshing aroma that invades the nose. The taste is sweet and smooth, like a clear mountain spring flowing across the tongue. The more one savors it, the more one can detect the subtle, smooth, and sweet notes within.
It is currently the only remaining shrimp or semi-ball-shaped light oolong tea in Taiwan.

  • More about Resting Tiger

First Spring is harvested in Longtan, Taoyuan. Longtan District is the earliest area in Taiwan to promote tea cultivation, with a history that can be traced back to the Qing Dynasty's Jiaqing era. Most Longtan is a plateau terrain, with tea plantations mainly located at elevations of 300-400 meters above sea level. The region has a high temperature and high rainfall throughout the year, with a thin mist covering the area in the morning and evening. The tea trees thrive well, allowing for the production of oolong tea, Oriental Beauty, and black tea.First Spring is shaped using a tong qiu machine(桶球機) and initial drying process, resulting in a tea leaf appearance that is half-ball shaped and curled. Its color is a deep green with grayish-white undertones.
