More about Nutty Forest
The cultivar of Nutty Forest is Hong Yun (TTES. No.21), released by the Tea Research and Extension Station of the Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan in Taiwan in 2008, is a crossbreed of Chinese Qimen tea and Indian Kyang tea. It has a sweet and refreshing taste, with a fragrance reminiscent of the rich floral and fruity scent of oranges and pomelos in bloom, making it a new variety of black tea with high aroma.
Nutty Forest is a fully oxidized tea, hand-picked without being cut into pieces, with the leaves in a strip-like shape. The tea liquor is bright and vibrant red. Due to the difficulty in controlling the cultivation, management, and production of this cultivar, the yield is very limited. High-quality Hong Yun is even more precious in the market.
