More about Chocolate Red
The Chocolate Red is made from the Qing Xin oolong cultivar and is a special style of red tea. It comes about through a special process developed by Katie Yen in 2023. Smooth, strong, and fruity taste with pleasant notes of hazelnut, caramel, and chocolate scent.
In August 2023, Katie Yen received a very special certificate: she holds the patent for a drying method for black tea that naturally elicits a flavour profile of chocolate, with notes of caramel, honey, and tobacco.
